Originally created by GEL-LYTE III designer, Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1995, the GEL-MC PLUS sneaker returns from the ASICS running archive with a reimagined midsole design.Evolving the upper with a leather and mesh construction, this shoe emphasizes the notion of a€Motion Control,a€ featuring its nylon midfoot strap on the medial angle that helped runners in the 90s reduce pronation.Technical for its time, we redesigned the midsole with the GEL-CUMULUS 17 running shoe tooling to evolve the designa€s retro aesthetic while improving its cushioning.
